Location
Known as the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’, Oxford is a truly historic city with stunning architecture! Oxford has long been synonymous with academic excellence thanks to its medieval university, but also offers a wide variety of shops, cinemas, theatres and restaurants! As a small, cosmopolitan and student-friendly city, Oxford is a magnificent location in which to study English and immerse yourself in English culture!
Our English language school in Oxford is located just five minutes’ from the city centre by bus. Fantastic facilities for students include computer rooms with free Internet access and a comprehensive library of books and DVDs. Students will have their meals in the college dining room, and are able to get snacks from the school’s own café.

| Making friends on the course |
CourseThe Young Students English language summer course at our school in Oxford consists of 21 lessons per week. This course has been specifically designed for teenagers, and you will be taught by highly qualified, native speakers, who are extremely experienced in teaching English to teenagers. Our school also offers an Intensive English course which consists of 25 English language lessons per week. This course can be arranged for a duration of 3 weeks. Our school also offers exam preparation courses for students who are preparing to take their IELTS, FCE or CAE exams, as well as preparation courses for those about to start their International Baccalaureate Diploma course.
Accommodation
At our school in Oxford, students are accommodated in student houses on the school campus. You will share a bedroom with other students of the same sex as yourself, and each house has its own Warden who will be responsible for your welfare whilst you are staying there. You will enjoy your breakfast, lunch and evening meals with the other students in the college dining room.
Level of supervisionWhilst studying at our school in Oxford, you will be carefully supervised by the staff at the school during the day, and when you are on activities and by your house warden when you are in your accommodation.

ActivitiesThe extensive activities programme at our school in Oxford includes basketball, volleyball, trips to London, drama workshops, river punting, a treasure hunt around Oxford, laser quest, quiz nights and discos amongst many others! These activities offer a fantastic opportunity to socialise with other students and make friends from all over the world, as well as practice your English outside of the classroom!
TransfersWe would be happy to arrange airport transfers for you, although these are not included in the course price
SuitabilityThis course is perfect for students aged 15-17 years who would like to study English with other students of a similar age, in a city famed for its academic excellence and for being typically ‘English’.
