San Sebastian
San Sebastian is a wonderful location in which to learn Spanish. San Sebastian is set on a sandy horseshoe bay on the northern coast of Spain, with stunning golden, sandy beaches. This is a beautiful city of narrow streets, restaurants, bars and with a charming historic center. San Sebastian is also an excellent location to learn to surf, with gently sloping sandy beaches and excellent surf all year round. Our school in San Sebastian arranges surfing lessons for students, with fully qualified surf instructors and all equipment provided, to combine with their Spanish course. San Sebastian is also an ideal base from which to explore the scenery of Spain’s northern coast and the Pyrenees Mountains, while you learn Spanish on a course at our school.

Our Spanish language school in San Sebastian has 15 classrooms, common room, Internet cafe, student cafeteria and large terrace, where students meet at break time and after their Spanish course. The school is next to a park, within easy walking distance of the beach and old town. Our school in San Sebastian offers a wide range of Spanish courses, including an ‘Intensive’ Spanish course of 20 lessons/week and ‘Combined Intensive’ courses, combining 20 group lessons/week with 5 or 10 private Spanish lessons/week. You can not only attend a Spanish course, but can also learn to surf in San Sebastian. The surf course includes 1 hour of surf lessons per day with qualified instructors, with surf boards and wetsuits provided. Our Spanish language school in San Sebastian also runs a Business Spanish course, DELE examination preparation course, Spanish for Teachers course, Spanish cookery course and a work experience program. While on a Spanish course at our school in San Sebastian, students can stay in shared student apartments or with Spanish host families. Staying with a Spanish host family naturally helps you learn the language more quickly, as you practice with the family the Spanish that you learn on your course at the school. |

An activity program including international evenings, film evenings, parties and excursions in and around San Sebastian is organised by our school. This program not only ensures that students enjoy their time in San Sebastian, but also helps students practice outside class the Spanish they learn on their course. Transfers to San Sebastian can be arranged from Bilbao, Biarritz or San Sebastian airports, or from Irun/Hendaye station. The nearest airport is Biarritz. Our school in San Sebastian also runs a separate Spanish Course for Young Students (14-17 years) in the summer, combining a Spanish language course with activities and excursions.
