If you choose a Spanish course in Lanzarote, you can combine learning Spanish with learning to surf, on a Spanish and Surfing course. With water temperatures of 20 degrees and above, a wide variety of sheltered lagoons and great reef breaks, surfing in Lanzarote is ideal for all levels from complete beginners to experienced surfers.
One of the things our students tell us they love about the island is its sheer natural beauty and great weather. From relaxing on the beautiful white beaches, to hiking through volcanic landscapes or spotting whales, dolphins and turtles, Lanzarote can be enjoyed at any time of year!

Our School
If you choose to learn Spanish in Lanzarote, you’ll be studying right in the heart of Costa Teguise, a peaceful town known for its beautiful beaches. Our school is centrally located, with everything you need close by – from shops and bike hire, to traditional tapas bars. What’s more, the beach is just a few metres away! Our school has Internet access and comfortable classrooms with natural lighting.
Our Spanish Courses
We offer a wide range of Spanish courses in Lanzarote, from our Intensive Course (20 lessons/week) to more specialist courses such as Spanish and Surfing/Windsurfing/Kite surfing and Spanish and Hiking. We keep our maximum class size to just 6 students, so you’ll receive plenty of individual attention during your Spanish course in Lanzarote.
Spanish and Surfing Course
Our Spanish and Surfing Course consists of 10 Spanish lessons/week, plus 5 days surfing. This course is suitable for both beginners and more advanced surfers. Our fully qualified surf instructors teach beginner to advanced surfing skills, including surfing etiquette and surfing techniques. This course takes place at Famara Beach and La Santa Beach, well known for their Hawaiian-style waves! All equipment is provided.
Spanish and Windsurfing Course
On our Spanish and Windsurfing Course, you’ll enjoy 10 Spanish lessons, plus a windsurfing course for beginners and 6 hours or 10 hours windsurfing practice. What’s more, we include all equipment, including wetsuit and water shoes!
Spanish and Kitesurfing Course
If you want to learn to kitesurf on one of the best and safest beaches in Europe, then learn to Kitesurf in Lanzarote! Our school will provide you with all equipment, including helmet, life vests and suits. All our kitesurfing instructors are IKO qualified, and at the end of the course, you’ll receive an IKO card showing the level you’ve acquired! This is a one week course, and consists of 10 Spanish lessons, plus 5 days kitesurfing.
Spanish and Hiking Course
Our Spanish and Hiking Course consists of 10 Spanish lessons and 4 treks, including a coast-to-coast trek and a trek through Lanzarote’s vineyards! You’ll trek in the mornings, and learn Spanish in the afternoons! Don’t forget to bring good walking boots and a camera with you!

Accommodation
Students at our school in Lanzarote can choose from a wide range of accommodation options. If you want to share with fellow students or Spaniards, why not stay in one of our shared apartments? You’ll stay in a single room, and share the kitchen, living room and bathroom. If you’re travelling with another student, try one of our beach front studio apartments.
If you’re interested in our Spanish and Surf or Spanish and Kitesurfing Course, we’d recommend staying in one of our surf apartments at La Santa or Famara Beach. You’ll need to hire a car to get to our school in Costa Teguise for Spanish lessons – our school will be happy to help arrange car hire.
If you’re interested in our Spanish and Windsurfing Course, or you’re one of our younger students, stay in one of our studio apartments in Costa Teguise – they’re just a few metres from our windsurfing centre and you’ll have access to a private swimming pool!

Activities
To help you get the most from your Spanish course in Lanzarote, our school will be pleased to help arrange activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing, trekking and mountain biking! If you’re interested in taking part in a language exchange during your Spanish course, ask about the language exchange program at our school.
