You can learn Spanish on a ‘Standard’ Spanish course of 20 lessons/week, or on an ‘Intensive’ Spanish course of 30 lessons/week. With a maximum of just 7 students per class, each student gets lots of individual attention. 

Our Sosua Dominican Republic school also runs a ‘Spanish and Windsurfing’ and ‘Spanish and Kitesurfing’ course, with 20 Spanish lessons/week, plus 9 hours of windsurfing/kitesurfing lessons. Spanish language lessons, all equipment and instruction are included. So, why not come to the Dominican Republic, learn Spanish and learn to windsurf/kitesurf at the same time! 

There is also a ‘Travelling classroom’ Spanish course, combining 20 Spanish lessons/week with a tour of the Dominican Republic. Students on this 2-week Spanish language program start the course at our school in Sosua, moving up to the Mountains of Jarabacoa, before proceeding to Santo Domingo, on to the beaches of Las Terrenas and finishing back in Sosua. This 2-week language tour of the Dominican Republic includes Spanish lessons, twin room bed and breakfast accommodation, plus airport transfers from/to Puerto Plata Airport.

Students at our Sosua school can stay in the on-site residence, ideally located, just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. The residence is set in lush tropical gardens, each room with a private bathroom, TV, refrigerator and fan, plus use of a shared kitchen. Alternatively, our school can arrange accommodation in high-standard self-catering private apartments, with air-conditioning and swimming pool, or in 3 or 4 star hotels, also with air conditioning and swimming pools. 

Our Dominican Republic Spanish language school also arranges optional extra activities for students, such as scuba diving, surfing, river rafting, mountain biking, horse-riding, hiking, tennis and golf. A one-way transfer from Puerto Plata Airport is included in the course fees. 

If you want, you can divide your Spanish course between Sosua and Santo Domingo, paying for one course and dividing it as you like between the two schools. In this way, you will see two very different sides of the Dominican Republic – a beachside location and the capital city.
