School and College Groups
 We have many years experience in organizing language study programmes abroad for school and college groups, both in Europe and Latin America.
Our schools are used to receiving these groups on a regular basis and to providing them with the personal attention that is needed in order to ensure that the study visit is successful. Group Leaders know their students best, and we therefore work closely with each Group Leader to design and deliver a study abroad programme which precisely meets the requirements of their particular group.
What we offer
 We arrange language courses for school groups at all our schools, worldwide. These School Group Programmes are entirely tailor-made to suit the requirements of each particular group. We can arrange tuition, accommodation, activities and airport transfers, or simply tuition.
How to book
Simply contact us and indicate what you would like us to arrange for your group. We will then put together a proposed School Group Programme for your group and will send this to you, for your agreement, indicating the cost, per student. Elements can be added to or removed from the programme, as required.
Course content
Students on School Group Programmes are normally taught as closed groups. The Group Leader will normally indicate to us the number of lessons required per week, as well as the specific topics, areas of grammar or language functions that are to be covered in the lessons. Our school will then prepare the precise course content.
Alternatively, we can arrange for students in a School Group to be taught with the other international students attending our school (provided the School Group are of a minimum age).
Accommodation
 We can arrange accommodation in carefully selected host families, student residences, or self-catering apartments. Host families are the most popular option, with half board (2 meals/day) or full board (3 meals/day).
However, School Groups can make their own accommodation arrangements, if they prefer.
Activities
We are normally asked to include an activities programme. This is tailor-made to suit the requirements of the group. The accompanying tutor will simply indicate what is to be included, and we will also make suggestions.
A sample programme is given below. However, the exact components of each School Group Programme differ, as each programme is tailor-made to meet the needs of each particular group.
Group size and duration
 A School Group can be any size, from 10 students upwards. Typical groups are 10 to 30 students. A School Group Programme will typically be of 1 or 2 weeks.
Payment
Once the Group Leader has indicated that they are happy with the proposed programme and wish to proceed with the booking, they will be asked to pay a deposit for each student in the group. The balance is due 8 weeks before the arrival of the group.
Financial Security
All funds received by Language Courses Abroad/Apple Languages for School Groups are 'ring fenced' by being paid into a properly established Trust Fund, administered by HSBC, to provide additional financial security and peace of mind for parents and Group Leaders.

Accompanying tutors
We normally provide free accommodation for tutors accompanying the group.
Airport Transfers
 We can arrange for School Groups to be met on arrival and returned to the airport at the end of the course.
Travel and Insurance
We do not arrange travel or insurance. We have found that most schools prefer to make their own travel and insurance arrangements.
