Our school in St Petersburg is located in the historic centre and is just a short walk from the famous Nevsky Prospect. There are 15 well-equipped classrooms, a cafeteria, and an internet room. You can learn Russian on a Standard Russian language course of 20 lessons/week, on an Intensive course of 20 language lessons and 5 cultural lessons/week, or if you want to learn as much Russian as possible during your course in St Petersburg, study on a Private lesson course of 15, 20, 30 or 40 private language lessons. Our school in St Petersburg also runs Combined Courses which are a combination of the Standard Course and 5 private lessons/week. Our Russian language school in St Petersburg arranges accommodation in self-catering apartments, shared with students from our school, or in carefully selected Russian host families. Our school advises students who want to learn Russian as quickly as possible to stay in Russian host families, as the families speak Russian to the students, helping students to learn the language skills they study in class. Our Russian school also arranges ‘conversation exchanges’ with Russian students, to help foreign students at the school meet Russians and practice the Russian that they learn on the course. |

Like our other school in Russia, our school in St Petersburg also offers an extensive cultural program, with a guided tour of St Petersburg, museum visits, boat cruises on the river Nera in the Summer, visits to the Russian Vodka museum, Russian steambath, ice fishing in the winter, and excursions to the Hermitage Art Gallery, Yussupor Palace, Peterhof, Tsarskoye Selo and Veliky Novgorod. This program ensures that students enjoy their time in St Petersburg, as well as helping them practice out of class the Russian that they learn at our school. If you like, you can divide your Russian course between our schools in St Petersburg and Moscow, meeting more people and seeing two very interesting and very different Russian cities. A one-way airport transfer is included free-of-charge, for all students who book accommodation along with their course in St Petersburg. |
