Russian courses
Whatever your reasons for wanting to learn Russian, we have a Russian language course which is right for you and offer you the choice to study at our schools in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Riga and Kiev.
You can start your Russian language course at any time of year, at either of our schools in Russia. You can choose to study for just one week, or for a full year. Our Russian language courses run at a wide range of levels, so we will certainly have a course which is the correct level for you.
You can choose a 'Standard' or 'Intensive' Russian course of 20 or 25 lessons per week, or else learn Russian on 'Combined Course' combining group lessons with private tuition. | Standard Russian Course: |

This course is 20 lessons/week and is the most popular of all courses as it allows you plenty of free time, whilst still being ‘intensive’ enough to ensure you make rapid progress with your Russian. |

| Intensive Russian Course: |
| |
This course consists of 20 Russian lessons/week, plus 5 culture lessons/week, focusing on Russian History, Literature, Culture, Mass Media and Business. The course is an excellent choice if you want to learn as much Russian as possible in a short period of time, and immerse yourself in Russian language and culture. You can attend this course at our school in Moscow, or our school in St. Petersburg. |

| Combined Russian Courses: |

These courses are a combination of a ‘Standard Russian Course’ plus 5 private lessons/week. If you choose a ‘Combined Course’, you can use the private lessons to concentrate on whatever is most important to you – perhaps preparing for a specific exam, or concentrating on the type of Russian that you need for your job. |

| ‘Academic Year’ Russian course: |

This course is only available at our school in St. Petersburg and is ideal if you want to study Russian for a year, to attain fluency in the Russian language plus a deep understanding of Russian culture and people. The course is available as 20 or 25 lessons/week and lasts 24 or 36 weeks. |

Remember, with all our Russian courses except the ‘Academic Year’ course, you don’t have to study in just one location – You can divide your Russian course between our two schools – in St. Petersburg and in Moscow.These are the principal Russian courses that we offer.

Accommodation in Russia |
| Russian Host families: |

Staying with a host family will not only help you learn Russian, but is also a great way for you to meet local Russians, make friends and really ‘immerse’ yourself in Russia. As you study, you will naturally learn Russian at the school, but you will really practice the language in your Russian host family. This extra practice will help you learn Russian more rapidly. |

| Shared student apartments: |

Staying in a shared apartment means sharing an apartment with other international students, and/or with local students. These apartments have fully-equipped kitchens and bathrooms, providing basic, reasonably priced, student accommodation. |

| Private Studio apartments: |
| |
Studios are self-contained ‘mini apartments’, with private bathroom and private kitchen or kitchenette. The studios are comfortably furnished and are available as singles or twins. They are the perfect choice if you want complete independence. They are substantially more expensive than shared student apartments. |
|
We can also arrange other types of accommodation for you, such as hotels. It is very important to us that you are happy in the accommodation you choose, so please do phone us or e-mail us, to ask for advice.
