Our Italian school is located in a refurbished 17th century palace, on the banks of the River Arno, in the very centre of Florence, just 5 minutes’ walk from the world-famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge. There are 10 well-equipped classrooms in the school, all with air-conditioning and several with magnificent views over Florence. As a student on an Italian course in Florence, you'll have a free optional grammar class once a week and free Internet access. You can learn Italian on an Intensive Italian language course of 20 lessons/week, or if you want to learn as much Italian as possible during your course in Florence, study on a Super Intensive Italian language course of 24 or 30 lessons/week. If you want to learn Business Italian, you can do so on a Business Italian Course, or else you can choose an Examination Preparation Course to study for the internationally recognized CILS and CELI Italian language exams. Our school in Florence also runs ‘Italian Club 50+’ courses, for students in their fifties and above who prefer to learn Italian with students of a similar age and with similar interests. |

Our Italian language school in Florence arranges accommodation in self-catering apartments, shared with students from our school, in private studio apartments and in carefully selected Italian host families. Several of the studio apartments are located just 5 minutes’ walk from the school. Our school advises students who want to learn Italian as quickly as possible to stay in Italian host families, as the families speak Italian to the students, helping students to learn the language skills they study in class. Like our other schools in Italy, our school in Florence also offers an extensive cultural program, with guided tours of Florence, Italian film evenings in the school, trips to the theatre and full day excursions to other locations in Tuscany. This program ensures that students enjoy their time in Florence, as well as helping them practice out of class the Italian that they learn at our school. Because of its excellent location, high level of student care and first-rate Italian language courses, our school in Florence in one of our most popular schools in Italy. Our Italian language school in Florence can arrange airport transfers from Florence Airport, if you would like to be met on arrival and taken to your accommodation. The same service is available from Pisa Airport.
