The town centre is a sea of old, timbered buildings, transformed into cosy cafés and stylish boutiques. Enjoy a superb location in Amboise, just a five-minute walk away from the Château d’Amboise! The school occupies a charming old building with its own patio area. As well as seven well-equipped classrooms, our school has a library, computer room with free Internet access, multimedia room and student lounge complete with a piano!
Courses
The Standard French course in Amboise covers all aspects of the language, including speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar, so your overall knowledge of French will soon improve. If you’d like to make even more rapid progress, our school also offers an Intensive course of 25 French lessons per week. You’ll be surprised by just how much difference that one extra class per day will make!
You can even learn French in Amboise with private classes to supplement the Standard or Intensive course. Private Lessons give you the total, undivided attention of our school’s expert tutors and allow you to concentrate on your own areas of interest, helping you to learn even more quickly!
If you want to gain a qualification in French, our school also has a dedicated course to prepare you for the internationally recognised DELF examination.

Accommodation
The best way to improve your language skills is by living with the locals, practicing your French all the time and getting to know the culture. Our school takes great care when selecting host families, ensuring you a warm welcome in Amboise! Your family will prepare two meals per day for you.
Alternative accommodation is available in a student residence, just a 10-minute walk away from the school. The single bedrooms are all equipped with their own shower and toilet. You’ll share a kitchen and computer room with your fellow students from the school, allowing you to spend more time socialising. There’s even a restaurant in the building, offering reasonably priced meals.
Activities
Our school’s varied activity program makes sure you have a great time as you learn French in Amboise! Typical activities include cinema evenings, Salsa dancing, canoeing on the Loire, wine and cheese tasting, school parties, seminars on French history, cycling trips and badminton, to name but a few!
Excursions are also arranged by the school, giving you the chance to explore more of France! Marvel at the beauty of Château de Chenonceau, witness the incredible Mont St. Michel or enjoy a day in Paris! Some activities are included in the price of your French course in Amboise, whilst others carry a supplementary cost.
Arrival in Amboise
If you like, our school can arrange for you to be picked up from either Orly Airport or Charles de Gaulles Airport. This collection service from Paris is available at an extra cost.
