Sliema

The medieval splendour of Malta’s capital, Valetta, is just a short ferry ride away from Sliema. Alternatively, you can stroll along the promenade, which winds its way around Marsamxett Harbour, passing the historic Fort Manoel. The walled city of Mdina, in the centre of the island, is well worth a visit, as are Malta’s fascinating prehistoric temples. You’ll find plenty to keep you occupied as you learn English in Sliema!

Our English language school enjoys an enviable location in the middle of Sliema, conveniently situated for shops, cafés and everything else you could want. The school has superb facilities, including a roof garden, computer room, language lab, Internet café, terrace, coffee shop and wireless Internet access.
Courses
The Standard and Intensive courses at our school both offer English lessons in same-level groups. Learning alongside other students allows you to have conversations and discussions with your peers, all in English of course!
Private Lessons, on the other hand, afford you the undivided attention of your teachers, so you’ll be speaking English in no time at all! Individual tuition also gives you the freedom to decide upon the course content, so you can tailor the course to suit your own requirements.
Our school’s Combined courses provide a mixture of both group and individual tuition. Another option is the Mini-group course, which consists of lessons in groups no larger than six students. Both of these programs offer more one-on-one attention than the Standard and Intensive courses, at a lower cost than Private English Lessons.
A number of special interest courses are also available at our school, including Exam Preparation, Business English and sports-based programs. Supplement your English course in Sliema with scuba diving, windsurfing or even sailing lessons!

Accommodation
Get all the English practice you could wish for – live with the locals! Staying with a friendly Maltese family, you’ll also get a feel for the wonderfully relaxed culture. Host family accommodation is available on a bed and breakfast or half board basis, either in single or twin rooms. Choose to stay with an executive host family if you’d like a private bathroom and Internet access.
If you’d rather prepare your own meals, our school offers self-catering accommodation too. Staying in an apartment, you’ll share a kitchen and other facilities with other students from the school. All of our school’s apartments lie within walking distance of the school, so you won’t have far to go for your English lessons.
Activities
See more of Malta as you learn English in Sliema! Whether it’s a welcome party, scuba diving, a tour of Mdina, a speedboat trip or Salsa lessons, you’re sure to have a great time on our school’s exciting activity program. You might even get to visit Sicily for the day! Please be aware, however, that some activities are not included in the cost of your English course in Sliema.
