Our English language school in Portsmouth is housed in a splendid Victorian building very centrally located in the university district of the city. The classrooms are bright and airy, with large windows and high ceilings, and class sizes are small (typically 6-10 students with a maximum class size of 14 students per class) ensuring that you benefit from the very best learning environment. The school offers excellent facilities for English language learning, including free access to the Internet via the school’s PCs or its wireless Internet, and its very own book lending service. The student common room, with table tennis, air hockey, pool and table football equipment and television, along with the school café offering freshly prepared hot meals are perfect for socializing with other students in between classes!

Our school in Portsmouth offers a wide range of English language courses to meet all requirements. If you would like to improve your overall level of English, then one of our general English courses would be perfect for you! Our school also offers courses in academic and business English for students who wish to improve their English for their career, and exam preparation courses which are perfect for those who are preparing to take their IELTS, TOEIC or ESOL exams!

Accommodation
Host family accommodation is offered by our school in Portsmouth on a self-catering or half board basis. We would always recommend this option from a linguistic point of view, as your host family will encourage you to speak English with them and to practice what you have learnt in class! However, if you would prefer to live more independently whilst you are in Portsmouth, our school also offers shared student accommodation, university halls or hotel accommodation.
Activities
Activities are arranged every week in order for you to socialize with other students, get a taste of the local culture, and enjoy yourself! Examples of activities include film afternoons, bowling, salsa and pub nights amongst many others! Our school also organizes regular excursions to local places of interest such as the Isle of Wight, Arundel Castle, Brighton, London and Oxford, as well as to theme parks!
We are able to arrange airport transfers, although these are not included in the course price.
